“Farmers Market Peach” is a mixed media painting created by Edmonton based artist Joze Olvera. The original art piece was commissioned by Wheat Pool Soda Company to be used as a product label for their Vodka Soda Product. (Check wheatpoolsoda.ca for more information on this product). You can find this new beverage, with this painting as label, in liquor stores across Alberta. The original painting is 30 by 30 inches and is no longer available for purchase.

About the artist: Joze Olvera works with a mix of multi layering techniques, photography, and photograph transfers. Textures and patterns are incorporated in her works, providing a rich an imaginative interpretation of the scenery or element. The floral lace back ground pattern used for the sky in this painting is from a lace summer dress Joze's daughters have outgrown. To Joze, this image brings back fond memories of farmers market experiences and summer lace dresses.
